Terms & Conditions

Please read our T & C's and sign if you agree to following all of the points.

I agree to photographs and videos to be taking of my child by staff and professionals. If not please put in writing via email.

I agree to photographs or videos of my child being used for marketing and on social media. If not please put in writing via email.

I agree to follow the parent information given on registration and to work with The Applause Group to create a happy, enjoyable experience for my child.

I agree I will not leave my child unattended before or after the lesson time.

If a person not on the emergency contact list is collecting your child please ensure you inform us via email with the full name of the person who will be collecting.

I agree to update my information on Class4kids and inform the Applause Staff if any changes are made to emergency contact details or anything to do with the student; such as medical conditions etc.


UNIFORM:

  • Uniform - An Applause T-Shirt, either Mini, Junior or Teen Stars must be worn to each lesson. This has been paid for in the one off registration fee.
  • Black jazz pants, plain jogging bottoms or leggings must be worn. Jazz pants will be needed for performances.
  • Shoes - For health and safety, discipline, to protect the floor and for ease of movement, we ask that all students wear black jazz shoes. You can either purchase these online or at Maceys on Caerleon Road. I do have a few pairs so please ask before you do. You are looking for; black leather lace up (or elasticated if younger) full sole jazz shoes. (Please ensure anyone under 8 has the full sole as opposed as the split sole as their arch in their foot needs the support when dancing).
  • Hair - Tied back
  • No jewellery to be worn.


PAYMENT:

  • You can pay for a 1 week trial, before your star's second week please sign up to our subscription method and/or pay the reminder of the term trial date is in the middle of the month.
  • Subscription must be set up the week after the trial session.

ATTENDANCE: 

* We encourage 100% attendance from the pupils to encourage discipline and to ensure they don’t miss anything important. If you are unable to make it, please email us to let us know.

* If a lesson is missed, fees are still paid as part of the subscription. Should The Applause Group cancel a lesson fees will either be moved to the following term or refunded or a replacement class will be added. We offer 36 lessons per year. 


PERFORMANCES:

* At The Applause Group we pride ourselves on offering the students many wonderful performance opportunities such as shows, concerts, examinations, show backs, skill based terms and so much more. We like to ask for 100% commitment from the students and full support from the parents.

OTHER

  • Valuables - please only bring valuables such as mobile phones if really needed. If you do please ensure you give them to a teacher to ensure they are safe and not left in a different room. The Applause Group does not take any responsibility for loss or damage of personal belongings. 
  • Please bring along a drink - not fizzy, in a sports cap bottle.
